Your Assignment and the Favor of God

To define the favor of God it is the love God shows toward you. His favor - Divine inheritance exists in the spirit realm. We know that there is an inheritance in Christ because the Word tells us about it.Believers are joint heirs (Rom. 8:17) and we've been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Eph. 1:3).These are incredible verses to contemplate and digest, but did you know that there are many other inheritances with your name on them in the spirit realm?

Psalm139:16: "Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them." God has set out a plan, a purpose, a future and a hope for you. He has good works for you to accomplish.

It is possible to be a believer and not walk in the favor of God. His favor is ours, but we don't walk in it. It's not that His favor is not there for us to enjoy and even revel in, it's that we don't acknowledge and take the favor that is our divine inheritance.

2Corinthians 12:9

AndHe said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strengthis made perfect in weakness." Therefore most

gladlyI will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ mayrest upon me.

Accordingto Strong’s Concordance, the definition of GRACE is,“The favor of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting

His holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge,

affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues.” With this in mind, using the acronym G-R-A-C-E,let us

look at a few facets of His favor, and how it applies to us now.

A gift is something given without a required payment. God has given us gifts for service. Romans 2:11 says,For there

is no partiality with God. He is not partial in how he distributes Spiritual Gifts among His children, but He is wise and knows
